My work starts with people: their memories and the culture they come from. I design spaces that carry that meaning into everyday life.

Raaga House
Project Year: 2023
Project Type: Residential Interior Design
My Role: Design and execution: interiors, artwork direction
Key Words: Experience Design, Sensory Design, Cultural Translation
Location: Hadapsar, Pune, India
Area: 1,200 sq ft
A family home in Hadapsar, Pune, for three generations living together. The client arrived with reference images of houses he liked, but none of them were about him. The research began with a different question: how does each person in this family spend their day? Indian classical music came up again and again, and it became the idea the house was organized around.
Weekend House
Project Year: 2023
Project Type: Residential Interior Design
My Role: Design and execution: interiors, spatial planning, color and material direction
Key Words: Experience Design, Daylight, Space Within Space
Location: Sus, Pune, India
Area: 660 sq ft
A weekend home for a family based in Pune, on the top floor of a ten-floor tower in Sus. The site looks out over a hill on one side, farmland on another, and the growing settlement on the third. The brief was a place to step away from the week. The research began with a simple question: what does a weekend mean to this family, and how is that time different from the rest of the week?
Ekya House
Project Year: 2023
Project Type: Adaptive Reuse, Residential
My Role: Interior architecture and interior design
Key Words: Wada Planning, Traditional Craft, Adaptive Reuse
Location: Sus, Pune, India
Area: 1,400 sq ft
An existing house in Sus, reworked into a family home rooted in Maharashtrian tradition. The client wanted a home that felt connected to the wada, so the research began there: how it is planned, what it is built from, and how it holds family life. The changes followed traditional Indian planning principles, from a new kitchen corner to a relocated entrance and a stone boundary wall.
Mimansa
Project Year: 2019-2021
Project Type: Architecture, Adaptive Reuse (B.Arch Thesis)
My Role: Individual thesis: research, planning, and design
Key Words: Rehabilitation, Heritage, Space Psychology
Location: Lower Aguada Fort Jail, Candolim, Goa, India
Site: 400 m stretch along the Mandovi river mouth
My undergraduate thesis, asking whether Indian prisons are designed for rehabilitation, and what should happen to prison sites once they fall out of use. The Lower Aguada Fort Jail, closed in 2015, is reimagined as an intermediary facility where ex-prisoners can rebuild their lives, alongside public spaces that open the site to visitors. Mimansa means reflection in Sanskrit, and the design studies how space can shift a person from isolation toward reintegration.
